5 things we miss about having you in store

Our boutiques have been closed for a little while now, and while we are open by appointment, we really miss having our beautiful customers regularly stopping by.

Some of the things we miss most about having you in store:

  1. Your amazing stories:
We absolutely cherish the conversations we have about your dance journeys. We love when you tell us about your latest eisteddfod experience, or your new routine, or finally nailing that tricky move. Sharing in your dance journeys is such a wonderful part of our day

  2. Your enthusiasm over new dance wear:
No-one quite knows the pleasure of a newly released leotard, or crop top and shorts set quite like a dancer. We can excited about new deliveries and we love unpacking them, but what we love most is when we get to see them tried on in store! We love when you find the perfect outfit to wear to class – as we all know that showing up dressed right makes the class start off on the best foot

  3. Your dead shoes:
We love when you finally make it in to replace those very well loved shoes. You know the ones – they smell a bit, they have a hole in the front where your toe pokes out, they have definitely seen better days. We love when you get to slip your feet into a brand new pair and we can see both the old and the new side by side – nothing is a better visual representation of a dancer’s journey than these shoe comparisons!

  4. Our first time fittings:
There’s nothing quite like the wonder and excitement of a dancer’s first visit to the dance store. The first time a little dancer gets to try on ballet shoes, or stomp around in store in tap shoes is a magical experience. The first tutu that fills a sparkly hole in a dancer’s heart or the first time a ballerina gets to come in for her first pair of pointe shoes that has been eagerly awaited forever! We love the magical moments, and we love that we get to provide these experiences for so many dancers. We’re definitely missing the smiles we are so used to seeing in our boutiques.

  5. Our messy shelves:
Any retail workers knows that tidying displays is a big part of the job. It’s one we love doing though because it means you’ve been in and made yourself at home. You’ve happily browsed through the shelves to find the perfect outfit. Tried things on and debated what to get, you’ve told us your stories, shared your wins and excitedly told your mum “I want that one for my birthday” Messy shelves to tidy means we’ve had wonderful customers in store. And although we really love it when we finally get it all tidied up at the end of the day, we can’t wait until we have messy shelves to tidy again!

Hopefully we’ll be back in store soon, we’re looking forward to the day we get back to our regular hours. For now, we’re here to support your dance journeys by appointment, just give us a buzz to meet one of us in store! 4322 8179
